ABOUT "The EmpowerYouth Collective"

CAP, in collaboration with Glexcole LLC, is leading the launch of the “EmpowerYouth Collective,” a partnership initiative involving other nonprofits in High Point, NC, and law firms.

The programs offered by CAP and Glexcole LLC are thoughtfully designed to equip participants with practical skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Through a diverse range of services, the initiative fosters creativity, leadership, and generational wealth building. Participants gain hands-on experience in restaurant ownership and catering, learning the intricacies of food service operations at a live training restaurant while hosting events and serving the community. The T-shirt design and printing program introduces youth to graphic design, production techniques, and entrepreneurial skills to manage an apparel business. CAP and Glexcole also sponsor impactful youth sports programs, providing nutritional support, funding for equipment and travel, and mentorship in leadership and sportsmanship. Attorney Alex Harrison, PLLC, enhances the initiative by guiding youth athletes in NIL sponsorships, offering legal representation, financial literacy workshops, and brand development training. Aspiring legal and political professionals receive mentorship and foundational knowledge of law, politics, and public advocacy, while participants interested in creative fields learn to protect their intellectual property through copyrighting and trademarking. Future expansions into film production and cartooning aim to inspire and empower participants with new creative outlets and collaborative opportunities. Together, these programs provide a holistic approach to fostering success and building generational wealth.
